Crazy mean duckling

Got two ducklings to keep our old khaki Campbell drake company after the fox got his mate. Problem is the five week old female (she quacks) attacks the old drake continuously. He gets tired of it after a while and pins her neck and then she stops for a bit and then it’s back to biting him. Anybody ever hear of a duckling attacking a drake twice her size???

She want to be high on the pecking order. I had a young khaki campbell female who would do the same thing, she eventually calmed down and accepted that the drake was the top duck. Young female ducks can be very bossy but they will mellow out.
