Crazy? Moving from incubator to broody

Uve heard good and bad stories about hatching saddle shaped air sacs both under mama and in the incubator.
Ive never hatched under a broidy, but did incubate some shipped eggs and the air cells were wonky. I went ahead n put them in their side for lockdown and they did just fine. It all depends on what youre comfortable with
Thanks!!

I went to go check on momma and the third, and last, viable egg under her hatched, so snuck the one from the incubator under her. I would not be surprised if it is malpositioned and does not hatch. It is still cheeping. I hated choosing between mom abandoning the nest with no more eggs to take care of her chicks and assisting if needed, but I didn’t want her to reject this chick if it did successfully hatch inside.

There are so many variables...but u did what u think is best, me too. If its making noises and such I doubt she'll abandon it especially seeing as her last egg just hatched recently. From what I hear they wait a day to take the chicks off the nest anyway
Mind posting pictures? Would live to see some:love

This is one from yesterday

Hmm, did I not post right? Take two. The broody is a BO and the babies are silkies.

And thanks, this our first broody adventure and without a rooster it has been interesting! Very enjoyable...now I just need to move momma and babies to the grow out coop. Giving the little one a little time to get it’s feet under him and momma some additional time on the egg. All the other girls are way to curious about what is going on in there. I know plenty people leave the chicks in with the rest of the flock, but I don’t trust them and our fencing is electric netting with spacing wayyy to big for a chick.
