Wondering if anyone else has a similar experience...we had a predator attack the 23rd of September and in the following weeks since the flock dynamic has changed some...this is probably me over analyzing AGAIN BUT the wounded hen has healed they ALL seem to be on the same wave link and really be a cohesive 9 girl flock no bullying, no drama, EVERYONE goes in the COOP at night

Once one of my coops was attacked by a raccoon at night. Two died and the third escaped. The third refused to go in there for several months afterwards and still doesn't like hanging out in there. She was never the same and went from a friendly hen to a skittish and frightened one. Though over the years she has tamed a bit.

Often times my chickens personalities change completely after an attack took place near them at night. Most the time it results in them becoming terrified of everything, including me.

Just a couple observations from me. I'm glad your chickens dealt with your attack differently. Let's hope your predator doesn't come back.

Yes we lost a silver laced Wyandotte that was number 2 in egg production and number 3 in the pecking order. Our number 3 egg girl had her vent damaged and bruising on both legs. And about a week later we noticed the breed sister had a significant amount of feathers missing on her neck and not sure if she was attacked as well...no wound could be found. The attack was as best we can tell a neighbors dog ...dug under the fence.
