crazy question

My daughter bought me an incubator for my birthday. My old one was not doing well. It is a 56 auto turner air circulated etc. It says place eggs blunt end downwards. Ot makes no sense to me I have always placed point end down wards. It is a chimaega model. Anyone use these before is that correct
