CRAZY QUESTION

This is going to sound Absotoootly CRAZY but I have to ask. A while back I asked for help with a broody hen, we cured her but two weeks later SHE WAS BACK we cured her AGAIN and had been great for about 3 weeks. NOW for the crazy question can chickens get/be jealous? I have a favorite hen and since breaking the broody hen my favorite has become her favorite target. My favorite was/is the head hen until about two weeks ago. It's not unmerciful pecking but seems to be directed at her only.

Still hard to watch a "favorite" bird get picked on so much..however she IS leaving the young girls of the new flock alone lol
