My rooster suddenly turned on one of my hens. He was trying to kill her. So we separated her and i just discovered today that she has round worms. Is it possible thats why he turned? Plus i dont think she has ever submitted to him.

Also he is young he just started courting about 6
weeks ago.

His age may definitely be a factor and I'm not sure about the correlation with the worms. We had a similar situation and I received some great insight on rooster behavior.
