As the title says.
My legbar has been on strike since about July 9th. Not broody. Acting normal. Eating, drinking, interacting with the flock.
No eggs.
The 9th we got rid of our rooster, but he attempted to mate with her a few times that day and didn’t succeed - but hair pulling, and jumping her attempted. That was the last day she laid, and I’m wondering if she’s traumatized. Or any ideas what else it could be, and how I can help her start laying again.

Edit to add: after looking at this picture, the area around her eyes seem red..? Does she have an infection?

Ok. Then I have some questions to get a better idea what’s going on: how hot is it there? Is it possible she has a hidden nest? What are you feeding them?
It’s hot this week. Very hot. But until now, it was fine 80-90 degrees.
Feeding them regular layer feed.
All my other chickens are slacking here and there, but overall laying at least three four a week. I know it’s hot, but not even one egg got me nervous.
No hidden nests as far as I can tell. Haven’t let them free range in months. I’ve got some flighty ones.

She doesn’t look like she’s molting. Where is she in the pecking order? Sometimes a change to the flock can upset the pecking order and cause enough stress to halt laying for a while. A month is a long time though—usually I would expect that from a chicken that had been attacked by a predator or was very ill. I can’t see anything wrong with her eyes and her comb is very red (which could be from heat) but is usually an indication that she is still laying. Usually during molt it will get pale. Is it possible she is eating her own eggs?
