Hi all,
I have two CL chicks, both are supposed to be pullets. They both look quite different (one has fainter 'eye liner' and much more grey) and their legs are quite different. Chick 1 has what I imagine are regular yellowish looking legs but chick 2's legs look greenish. Is this normal? The greenish colour isn't new to her but has become more pronounced with growth.

Thank you Nicalandia! That's a relief

And you think the greenish leg color is normal?

It's quite normal, since females have only one barring gene the dilution effect of the barring gene on the shanks is not as powerful as the males, and some females chicks will show greenish shanks, this is also found on barred rocks too.

Nicalandia: thank you so much for your insight. I was getting a little worried about that green hue :D
