Cream Legbar eggs.

love your whites to...!!!
i agreed , i to would prefer a slightly smaller comb & more crest...! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK...!!! your birds are Wonderful...!!!

That is and has been my position on the combs/crests. On a bird like a Legbar with a crest people do not say "nice comb" they say "wow, look at that beautiful crest".

That said I understand both sides of the argument. They had big combs in England and we have to be somewhat true to the breed history too, (see how PC I have become since joining the Cream Legbar board of directors..LOL)

Excuses, excuses! You haven't really been a "little ill" Ralphie - you took my trip to Australia while I was off the computer and didn't want me to know!

And oh, sure! I find the ad for eggs right after I had to rehome all of my chickens. and have exactly nothing in the coop and run now. Well played, good and faithful friend, well played! :love

(I could have said something about how beautiful your birds are and how much I admire what you're trying to do to help get them recognized, but then you wouldn't have believed it was really me posting!)

Boy, I wish I was just fighting poisonous snakes in the outback! It would have been so much more enjoyable.

You need eggs if you have no birds now!

I thought someone send me a PM wanting legbar eggs.. With all the drugs and how I was feeling I seem to have misplaced or lost the request.

I have the eggs now, I saved the last 2 days so I have 7 - 8 eggs. Let me know if I forgot you, I am sorry, but when worried about whether you will have a tomorrow or not Legbar eggs kind of fall into second place.

Well, shoot! Now I feel bad because I didn't realize how serious it was! I'm really sorry to hear this, Ralphie!

Nope, no thanks on the eggs. We just made the tough decision to rehome all of my flock, so aside from passing on nuggets of probably useless information I'm out of the chicken keeping world and not planning to repopulate. <sigh>

I have two cream legbar chicks. I am possibly interested in some eggs if you have some. I have never showed poultry and really have no idea what it entails, but I would be interested in helping with getting this breed accepted if possible. I just wouldn't know where to begin, but what else does someone do when their kids leave for college? Why, fill up the pens with chickens of course. LOL. If you have some eggs, let me know. :)

More hens.

I have eggs!... I will have them for a few more days, then I am putting other hens into the pen as I get ready for spring breeding,,,and fall showing, of course.

I would be glad to put you in touch with the Director from your area of the Cream Legbar club, they are always looking for help.
