Cream legbar ?.... gender??

Ok so I got this bird and was told it was a female cream legbar. Supposedly autosexed but I am new to chickens and haven’t got a clue. S/he is 7-8 weeks old now. And the comb is pinking up so now I’m wondering.... what am I holding?

Cream Legbars have a single comb. That chick appears to have a rose comb. It is definitely not a cream legbar. I also suspect that it is a cockerel but it may be too soon to say for sure.

Looks to be a mixed breed cockerel. So adorable.

Dang. I guess I got bamboozled lol. Gonna have to give the bird away if it is indeed a boy. Can’t have roosters.

I think that’s a peacomb. Hard to tell from the pictures.

A red peacomb at that age is a good indication of male.

Darn I'm in Texas. I would take him. He looks like he's going to be nice looking.

Crossbred cockerel. Rose comb, slate legs, and 5 toes...Crossbred for sure.
