Cream Legbar Laying Pink Eggs??

I was stumped as to what chicken has been laying light pink eggs. But today I discovered that my cream legbar is most likely the culprit..and I am almost positive that she is a purebred since I hatched her myself and was autosexed like the other chicks hatched. What's going on here?
And a side note- I've also noticed that a lot of the pink eggs are usually bloody when cracked open- when there's been no time to incubate (cracked the same day as laid).

I also have one of the pink eggs incubating right now..so in a couple weeks I guess I will know if it's a legbar chick or not. I am very interested to see that little guy hatch!

Where did you get her egg? Do you have a picture of her?
Doesn't sound purebred as pink eggs are a variation of brown.

From a breeder. And I do not have a picture handy of her. I have 8 cream legbars though and she looks identical to the others. And yes, you're right it is a variation of brown.

Ok now I am 100% sure it was her, I got to see her lay the pinkish egg today. I will post a picture of her. If she's mixed (which she would have to be right?), any guesses as to what with? And how was she able to be autosexed like the others?

Now I am really interested to see what little chick will hatch out as!

She is a blue (blue splash?) Copper maran

Did you actually see it come right out of her vent...
....or was she just in the nest where you found the egg?
Because that surely does look like a pure CCL.
