I've ask about these before but I just had I thought that made me doubt the mix some chicks are. So I have a cream legbar hen and a leghorn mix that both lay light blue with the occasional green egg, but I'm thinking due to the cream legbar the blue chicks are the males while the hens are the spitting image of the cream legbar hen. It'll be helpful to know that the dad is a red hampshire or a cross. I had 3 blue chicks, one died but looked to be a blue barred while the other 2 are growing barred and white feathers, yeah the leghorn is white but the female cream legbar chick has white leakage as well.
First 3 is blue chick at day 1
4th is a recent pic of a different chick.
Last 2 are of cream legbar female cross.
