Cream Legbar Pictures

This is the cream legbar from my pet chicken. I you look closely, she does somewhat look like this.

Can you give us a side view? What we are looking for is soft barring on the body and tail feathers and the crest, with subtle barring on the hackle.

Well darned if @rottlady isn't correct! Your beauty's only part legbar. She is missing the barring gene from her sire! Her color is more like a brown leghorn. Is that stipling I see on some of those cushion feathers?

But one thing that wouldn't make sense, is that when we got her, she came with a roo (who looks a lot like a cream legbar).

Do you think that they are both part cream legbar?

An if you think about it, they are likely to be the same breed, the roo and the hen.

If I remember correctly, they contract out for chicks.

Those were freebie chicks right? When I saw that rooster, I immediately thought bielfelder, but I know he's much too light for that, his body type is still very much legbar or perhaps even crele leghorn.
