Sweet.......
Thanks DoubleMMCongratulations K!!! Any more buddies for your early bird yet?
So cute! Any names yet? More pics? Thanks DoubleMM
yes, KP there's one just out - two more in that incubator that made it to lockdown, and another incubator a week behind that one.
Lonesome in there (the yellow one is a furry stuffed chick)
"Mr. DeMIlle, I'm ready for my close up. "
Funny thing too - just a bit over 24 hours and already having beak and legs turn yellow (although there is a lot of yellow reflected light in there. When first hatched they have pink legs and beak in my flock (for 1 day I guess).

That one really thinks you are her mama. That loving look! or is it for the camera only?Faith & Phyllis, Nice low tails and nice long backs....beautiful saturated salmon color on breast-feathers second photo from bottom......She;s looking like she;s getting there.... I still have one from Easter-time hatch that hasn't started laying.
Yep, I just got a boy and a girl from this hatch - Early Girl and Lazy Boy -- then I candled the two remaining and one egg was clear--and I'm thinking -was it a "maybe" when I candled before? (I handle eggs as little as possible now-a-days since I once cracked one while handling (but I waxed the crack over and he hatched fine and grew fast & well...) the other one that made it to lock down - no pips, no peeps -didn't see movement. But it makes you so happy with the ones you actually GOT (or at least it does for me!)----
Food's better when you stand in it -- She hatched about a day and a half before he did.
chick in one hand and camera in the other - walked around the house unitil I found a place that I could get the catch light in her eye....she looks grumpy there....:O)
