X2 We do need more pics! Maybe a few new comers will add some photos of their CL flock. And those of you that haven't shared with us in a while, post some progress you've been making!

If you don't mind hearing from me again…=)
Here's my newest "barn" at 7weeks, primed, waiting for some paint; happy to add I have some nice cream cockerels lined up for the job in a few months (not her CL hatch mate or the OE shown in the pics).

In addition to her overall appearance (nice crest, round chest, long back, low tail angle, good leg color), she is a large pullet. She started out larger than her CL hatch mates (a small group) and put on weight at a faster rate, keeping pace with the cockerel. At 6 weeks the other girls were right around 400 grams, plus or minus 15 grams, while my barn-builder matched the cockerel at 494 grams.

I was really surprised as her full sisters have been small, both in this hatch and previous. It encourages me to keep trying even if the first offspring have different attributes.

@sol2go I love your Barn girl and honestly I think her paint is great too. I also like that she is larger than her other hatch mates, if she continues with that growth pattern that will be good to get some increase weight on your future offspring. I think so far she is over all fantastic! I hope you continue to post pics as she matures.

Do you have pics of the male you plan to pair her with?

Thanks for the kind note, she is in need of some more cream, but has the right components I hope.

I thought you might ask about the cream boys, they'll be out running around tomorrow, hopefully I can get a pic.
