Cream Legbar Pullets Not Laying...

Bought 8 Cream Legbar pullets in earlyJune and the seller said they were either 2 or perhaps 3 months old, making them now 5-6 months... Thus far none of them have laid.... I've never owned this breed but I'm reading they start laying by now... And no, they aren't crowing.... lol... Am I being impatient ...

Are their combs and waddles getting big? Are they checking out the nesting boxes? Are you giving them layers feed?

They're getting 16% protein crumble.... They don't seem to pay attention to the nesting boxes

Assuming you're in the northern hemisphere, days are shortening and it's more and more likely that if birds haven't already started laying, they won't start until later on, when days start lengthening again.

Show a picture. If they are young, I would expect them to start laying, even though the days are getting longer. But maybe they are not as old as you think. Post a picture.

Pictures? My legbar was one of the last pullets to lay out of our twenty-ish we had.

Like a layer feed...what's the calcium percentage?
Have you fed this since you got them?
They should be on a higher protein feed.
Do you feed any other 'foods/treats'?

They also get some produce from my garden (ie. tomatoes, watermelon, cukes,zukes...) plus BOSS when there's no produce..
