Welcome to BYC! Yup, the dark one is a pullet and the light one is a cockerel.

Yay! So glad my breeding stock is easy auto sexing and Idon't have to start over with different roo and hens.

I just hatched one of each in March. The male is very light barred and the female has a poofy crest and is much darker.
