Cream Legbar Working Group: Standard of Perfection

Punnet states in his writings that any gold present here is a sign of gold in the genetics. So I am watching for gold in the secondary feathers as part of my cull process.
So being a bit lazy - This was from a post last October of Macbeth's wings as he was growing...maybe he was 4 months old or so. I've been using the secondary feathers in the wing bay as a cull point for almost 2 years now.
It's way too cold outside today and it's going to snow a bit - plus I wanna go do some shopping and spend some gift certificates!!!!!! I will try to go out at some point and take some photos of the boys.

I still have Macbeth and 6 other CCL boys in the pen. One of my favorites has such a horrid comb I should really cull him but I love his type, especially his clearly barred breast and his keel but I cannot keep all 7 permanently so he and another with earlobe color issues are on the list of the next to go once I get the nerve...I could keep him for free-ranging but that's a death sentence if they don't coop up at night around here but I may try to hold on to him just to breed him once next year. So far none seem to have squirrel tail and they are all good for color. I want to keep the White Sport male so I need to settle on no more than 4 of the others to make it through winter and make some final choices next spring (to be honest you'd never know I had 11 roosters in that pen - 7 cream CCL, 1 Sport CCL, 2 Splash Marans & 1 BCM). My issues are combs and trying to figure out what is the best barring and tone to the barring and also size. I do have 2 that are clearly on the breeders list as they have nice ear lobe color, straighter combs and good size and barring. None are perfect.... shucks!

For girls - I have 18 cream colored Cream Legbar hens and pullets (4 are 2013 GFFs), 4 gold colored Cream Legbar hens and pullets and 2 white sports pullets. A few of the girls need culling but I'm waiting until they are all over 5 months old next month. Some are smaller than I'd like.
In a perfect world I'd pair Macbeth up with some of my F2 pullets and the oldest 2013 GFF female. I'd pair 3 young boys up with the F1's, the January '13 2013 GFF girl, the 3 younger 2013 GFF females and maybe some F2's in different pairings and then I'd have the white sports but.... my husband would KILL me with all that rooster noise once it warms up and the house is more open, plus I'm hoping to add the Rees line this year so I need space for that. In the end I need to cull down to 2-3 of the Cream boys for next springs. It'll help once I decide on which 1 or 2 Marans boys to choose from the 3.
