I was there showing my Polish pullets. Received BV 1 for my Golden Polish and a DQ for stubs on the legs of my otherwise very nice Buff Polish.My first show! It was fun.

Yes, if I can figure out birds and kiddos I will be attending the 2014 APA NATIONAL (Host: Tennessee Valley Poultry Club "The Dixie Classic" ) on Dec 6-7th 2014 in Knoxville TN. I'm planning on bringing my best Barnevelders as well as my new trio of Cream Legbars (who should be at that 12 o'clock stage...praying) and perhaps Cream Puff too.

How do you categorize the CCL for show entry, since it is not an APA standard bred?

Thats funny chickat! I just realized that my phone was on wrong setting. S5 is smarter than me! If I by some crazy chance have time and its not snowing there, I may pop in to that Show in Knoxville to observe. I have to go to Lexington for a horse trip.

How do you categorize the CCL for show entry, since it is not an APA standard bred?

They are entered in the English Class-- and a print out of the draft SOP should be provided to the show-- with maybe an explanation or/and a cover letter telling them that the objective is to gain APA acceptance. good luck with it!
