Cream Legbar Working Group: Standard of Perfection

seeing how the Legbar can trace their genesis to the Barred Rock that have not only crisp barring but well denfined lines you can follow. these modifier must come from the "Chilean Stock" that was imported, because so far Crele Leghorns(which have been created before Legbars) show crisp barring(you could call it, cuckoo instead as is not as detailed as Barred leghorns)... Edit. some pics for educational purposes. True Barring on Leghorns

now some legbars do look very light grey like this male(not all of them ofcourse)

Edit.. another example, This male shows what I call Messy and Diluted grey barring on him(take a look at his leg drum sticks) and his tail is just bad now the Light Barred CCL , take a look at the dilution effect of this light barring gene has on gold and black feathers

B2(Barrin gene 2) were very light grey dilute and males showing B2/B were in the middle and B/B males showed normal barring and not as diluted as the B2/B2 males, as to show cream(light or diluted butter/cream) instead of plain Silver(white) and I thought it was linked to chicks with light chick down and chicks with Dark chick down.. but so far the connection has not been proved, but the different Barring genes remains a mystery untill further notice(or untill I get my hands on some of your stock) second edit.. just to keep you on the subject this is how SOP males should look(to me)

this males show dark barring and corect cream coloration and dark barring called for on hackle, saddle, back, shoulders, secondaries and coverts... and Beasts ofcourse...

Our Cl tails and wings have the exact same look and patern to the lines of barring as the true leghorn barring. The cuckoo has spots of black. To create the barring look. The tails of our cl and true leghorn barring is that double v type defined line. The chest of the true legbar barring is also just like the dark barred males or the original gff roo nicalandia posted a picture of. Also i think the light grey messy barring on our Cl chest look like the cuckoos chest barring. Strang our cl show examples of both types of barring

have you see the pics of the Cream Crele Leghorn? I think that roo has good barring and color, is just lacking the extra melanizers blackbirds show.. seems like the Cream Crele and Silver Crele Leghorns have better barring and the breast is of a dark Grey color and the wing Triangle remains white/cream

I would say it look alot like CL should look like, as in dark barred breast, even cream color, the neck barring is also goo, but but its lacking the dark grey barring on saddles and also have a white wing triangle.. which should show some dark barring too, I also say it looks like CL should look because I see many CL males with light grey or grey messy or undefined breast barring...
