Wait a minute! Are you saying yellow spots on the head mean pullets? I thought they were roos. If that is the case (keeping my fingers crossed) I have two girls.
Both the boys and girls can have a dot. They can also have the "chipmunk" stripes and in different shades. There are multiple down colors ranging from cream to brown to gray. The best way to learn to sex them is to look at the eyeliner. On females the eyeliner will be distinct. On boys, the eyeliner will be either missing, disrupted, or fuzzy. This is caused by the barring gene. Females are single barred. Boys are double barred. The barring also disrupts the color and dot on the head and back.Wait a minute!
