creating a buff minorca

Hi everyone I live in Australia and only black, blue, and white Minorca are recognised. How do I create buff I don't mind using some leghorn blood and would like to stick to Mediterranean blood and keep mostly Minorca blood. Any ideas???

You would need to make use of a Buff colored fowl. Buff Leghorn x White Minorca,would be a good choice.Another good option would be Buff Leghorn x splashed (blue) Minorca. Buff Leghorn x Black Minorca.Other options if a Buff Leghorn is not available would be Buff Orpington or Buff Rock.

The best plan is to backcross the f1 back to pure Buff Leghorns,then repeat and bredf2 back to Buff Leghorns.You could also breed the f2 and f3 together.
In addition to type and size,you need to watch leg/skin color also buff color. If Orpington or Rock is used,red earlobes,brown tinted eggs,and loose feathering need to be watched.
