Creating a cat breed for hunting?

Studies do seem a bit bias I mean we all seen cats kill large rats. Just one colony of ferals or a few colonies maybe they had easier options and could not afford to use extra energy to hunt rats. IF fed well and healthy would be better.

It's an idea... But people are selfish and greedy. It wouldn't be long before they were breeding and being abandoned just like all the numerous other poor animals that people thought they could improve on. JMHO.

last night crazy timing but i put him back out in my yard he has been living here for years. I dont know if he was playing dead. He lives under my porch never touched my birds hes fat lazy slow eats garbage.

That cat is BEA-u-TI-ful.:love I had one that looked similar, he was black and greyish, whiteish. He was a stray kitten who picked our home to hang out, probably because we put food out for him. He had the best personality and was a prankster also a rodent hunting machine.

Oof, better make sure your cat is kept up on flea treatment and rabies vaccines. Possums are bad about fleas, and who knows what else he's hunting!
How did he even drag that inside? Must've been as heavy as him!

by the neck hes twenty five percent leopard cat f4, he doesnt leave the property shocklinly hes not independant at all. He has to be close to me or dogs. Since i started feeding him with the birds is when all kind of things being brought in the house. Most cats will wander but she is afraid to get off property which is really good.
