Creating a Garden Manager: Paid or Free

Hey Peeps,

Right now i am developing a garden manager so the big thing that keeps coming up in my brain is

Paid or Free.

The only thing with being free is that would need to have ad's (just to cover the server costs)

So, you mean some sort of web page?

Not a live manager for a real community garden or a download-able program?

What will it do? It would have to do something fairly fancy if you expect people to pay for it. I manage my garden by writing notes on my calender, and mostly by looking at the plants and sticking my fingers into the dirt. Other than locating and buying plants and seeds, I don't use my computer for much that is garden related.
