ok i have a project on mind a toughy and would like some thoughts on which route(s) i should go. i am looking at creating a bantam breed that is mille Fleur color/pattern, has black skin, has a crest, feathered legs, a beard and lays blue/green (prefer blue). as for comb that's still up in the air. for body type take a look at silkie/d'uccle mixes 
now i have all that except the blue/green eggs in a 2nd generation silkie/d'uccle mix (pics included one single hen). i am looking at introducing black ameraucana to the mix for the blue egg laying gene. how many separate pens with different stock birds (not all from the same breeder) would you think i need for this? i don't mind the silkie gene either as i am also working on silkied d'uccle but with this one i don't really have a specific color in mind thought of doing just solid black cause it is the easiest to work with. ideas on that one are fine as well
