Creating a sex-linked hybrid RIR

But White Leghorns being extended black birds, with silver, barring & dominant white, when crossed with RIR being a black tailed red. Wouldn't the extended black from the white leghorn make the offspring a black bird & the dominant white also from the leghorn stop the black pigment thus making the offspring white?
White leghorn having similar colour gene to Barred Rock but with addition of dominant white, wouldn't the offspring be like the black sex links with dominant white added?

I agree with Krys. At least that is how it works in the USA. If leghorns E locus is brown then things are different.

Leghorn male on RIR female.

Females will tend to be all white or leak some black. The black could be pepper like or whole black feathers.

Males can vary: white, white leaking black or not too often combinations of white leaking black and red.

RIR Male on leghorn female. You will get the same results. For some reason ( most likely female hormones) females do not leak red through hypostatic black ( white) like males. If females leak a light buff, it will be in the breast and head region.

Thanks for all your replies,
I'm studying up further and I am going to incubate some eggs from the Roo X RIRs. Will let you all know what the chicks turn out like!
