Creating the Perfect City Chicken

Although I can't give any input on breeds you might use, as a city chicken owner, I would add one more item to your "perfect" list. The breed should be auto-sexing or easy to sex. Many city chicken owners can only have hens and IMO removing the possibility of roosters would be an important consideration. I almost ordered sex-links for that very reason.

Absolutely!! Fortunately, both Faverolles and Bielefelders are auto sexing.
