Creating varieties of Peafowl

I have some peafowls like , BS , white ,Pied. green java.........but don't know how to create all those varieties .please tell me the basic principal .

Unfortunately, no "basic" principal can be applied to all varieties you listed. Best bet is to breed like bird to like bird, then you'll at least get more of what you have. Are you trying to mix the varieties to get (for example) BS pied?

Java green peafowl are a wild type of peafowl so they are not a created variety. They can only be made by breeding Java to Java.

If you breed a white peafowl to a pied peafowl you will get pied chicks and white chicks. A lot of the time though breeding say an India Blue to a blackshoulder will get you a bird that is split to blackshoulder, meaning it caries the backshoulder gene but it does not look like a blackshoulder it will only look like an India Blue.

what I mean is how to get different varieties mentioned with UPA, like midnight , bronze , mentioning what I have means . how to get from these available varieties that I have ..e,g I love bronze but don't know , how to creat it , is there any body to guide me.

Have you read through all of the stickies? If you get a basic idea about genetics, it will help you know what you can, and can't do. For example, I don't think you can really just "create" a bronze.

.Actually I am living in such part of world where we have only conventional colours and variety.........so desperately trying to know the exact formula what ever they have created , I have seen the chart but it will help later on , what I want to know , how they have brought the already existing colours and patterns like bronze, midnight , peach.

My understanding is that these colors were mostly accidents of nature. They were not actually created by the breeders instead it was a mutation that simply occurred and was then discovered and expanded upon by the breeders who were knowledgable enough to recognize the bird was something different and new. I think Peach came from Cameo crossed with Purple, but we could cross those 2 colors again and again, with no guarantee we would ever produce our own Peach. To get a Peach for sure you almost have to purchase a bird that already carries the mutation.

Hi .....Buddies......Would some one tell me ..........1.. BS pied with white eye will give what when crosses with what ...and can he bring silver .2 cameo silver will give silver if crosses with some one else with out silver
