You should put that thing on legs and raise it up about a meter. Then make one side of it open, or put a large door. This way you can scrape the bedding out right into a wheel barrel, no shoveling, no bending over. Also no bending to colect eggs. You don't want to use roof acces because of all the snow. Also you can pen the bottom in and the ducks will have a sheltered spot where they are still outside. Alternatively you could enclose the bottom portion and use it for storage. This guy has a pretty well thought out coop check it out.

That would be nice I have 3 coops all the same color. Your Muscovy should be very snug in there mine love their house.

Do you beleive this will be big enough for 2? Its about 4-5ft by 3ft inside. I will have a little deck so they can come out to.

Thats pretty cool! The duck house will be snow and wind free in my garage during the winter months so i wont have to worry about snow! But i like that theres no bending required!

My ducks have to walk up a small incline ramp to get into their house at night. Def make your door/ ramp large enough you can get in there to clean good duck poop on the walls can get nasty. I actually have vinyl up along the walls in my coop to make cleaning poop easier. But I think for 2 Muscovy that size is fine if they are only going to be sleeping in it.

If you bring them in your garage in the winter you don't need a heater for sure.
