Creepy Crawly things

Is it a general rule that if it is a bug, insect, worm, whatever, that the chickens can eat it. I have some sprouting seeds and I noticed one of the containers has tiny white wriggly things on top. I can only assume they are maggots of some kind. Should I let them chickens have ate them? Are there any creatures that I should keep my chickens from eating?

Let the chickens at em, they will scarf up just about any kind of insect.

Maggots, or larvae of any kind, are like bonbons for chickens! And healthy too.
