Creepy phone call, now I'm paranoid! UPDATE: PG 7

They can't trace it if it is a prepaid phone. Verizon offers prepaid service. There's no account to trace. I'm betting it's a prepaid phone.

Kelsey.. Yep, a video and speaker phone will work too.

That way you have a record. Keep it all on file.

I've been thru this before, it's frustrating. Once you have a nice long paper trail, with police reports. You can go to court and take some other actions also. Just try not to let it bother you too much. Just stay alert, and if anything LOOKS suspicious, listen to your instincts, and make a record of it.

Verizon was no help at all, and when we asked for a manager he refused to put us through, so hubby hung op on him. Hubby also called the number back and it was a voicemail that sounded like the guy was just um.... Gurgling in the phone, I guess?

I just got back from buying myself some pepper spray.

I think it is horrible that someone would do this to people, making them feel unsafe in their own homes. What a sick, sick person.

That's what I thought until I found that website I linked in the first post.

What are they talking about when they say CDC in the link??

i am on that with you.
I would call back or have my hubby call back and freak out on that person, make that person you are a freak and that they dont want to mess with you, let them know you are NOT afraid of them.
