I started it on TiaGard in case its respiratory
Any ideas
Eating good but I haven’t seen if it’s drinking. I gave it a dose of the medicine through a syringe.

Welcome To BYC

Did the chick start gasping after you syringed the medication into her?

Please post photos of the chick, her poop and the brooder.

Do you have existing Mycoplasma within your flock, you have Tiagard (Tiamulin) which is what this specific medication is used for.
What dose did you give the chick?

What does the chick's crop feel like?
What is the temperature of the brooder on the warm and cold side?

I'd make sure she's not too hot, encourage her to drink on her own. offer wet mushy feed to see if you can entice her to eat.

I know this was late, but I really appreciate your reply! I have another issue with a Chicken and thought I would come on the site and realized I did not check the replies from this last question because I actually doctored it back to health by giving it various things like the tiagard and a concoction I make up
So thank you thank you
I’m gonna post this publicly, but I will ask you have you had an experience with a chicken with chronic sour crop
Roo, 1 yr old, small breed of lavender Orpington. Seems like the issue she started after he got flash strike, and I doctored him back to health. I have tried:
Miconazole, yes, for days
Digest gold enzyme
Yogurt, pumpkin,egg
Ivermectin
He will go for four or five days then his crop gets full again- start process all over
Except this time, his body did not digest the scrambled egg

Thanks for the update, I'm glad the chick got better. I'll give you some info on the new thread you started.
