Laura would you ship eggs? Even if a few? I could ship you some backNestor,
Do you still have your Crele Penedesenca? I now have one hen and two roosters. I would be willing to sell all of them,

Strange . I have 7 hens in a 22 by 36 run and am getting about 3 a day now but they are starting to pick up. I'd give her more time. I can get you some eggs if you want I had a great hatch last week . I have some orders or I can get your info to someone in Nevada that has them too.Hi!
No, that's exactly the problem I am having...no eggs! I get maybe one a week from the one hen! I read several places where Penedesencas are supposed to be good layers. I tried putting them in a larger pen last week to see if that would help make her feel more comfortable, but so far, no eggs. Both hen and roo are still just under a year old, and she's been laying since October. I have also incubated every single egg she's laid. Either I get no hatch or a little cockerel. (I'm hatching Marans, Welsummers, Basques, GLWs, and others with very good results, so it's not my incubator.) I really wanted a good little CP flock, and I have spent a lot of money trying to get CPs established on my farm, but I'm getting tired of this. I read that Penedesencas don't like confinement much, but if I let them free-range I cannot guarantee any chicks would be pure. Any suggestions?
