He'll be 2 years old in June. We had gotten 3 hens and a rooster from a neighbor. I posted pics on here and some ppl said they believed the hens were a Crele, a Partridge, and a Lemon Cuckoo? and the rooster was a Crele. The first rooster died defending his girls. This rooster is the offspring of him and most likely the Partridge hen. We're not positive. These were given to us, as I said, so I don't know their history. They kept getting passed around because no one wanted them or they didn't get along with their other chickens.
He's defended his girls quite well, but he is getting testy and we have his offspring to take his place. We hatched 5 eggs from him and the hens last year. I'm worried he's going to hurt my daughter who's taking care of them and I don't have the time to "train/tame" him.
