Crest Size

How reliable is this in determining gender? I have three black sex links and they are all relatively the same size. However one's crest is at least double the size of the other two, and much bigger than the other chicks crests as well. His actual body is the same as all the others though. This one also just acts Roo-ish. Too early to tell? They are 2 weeks Tomorrow or Monday. Being that they are sex links, what are the odds of a mistake?

I don't know what the odds are but I do know it can happen.
It happened to me last spring when I got my Golden coments at TSC
All the chicks looked the same but one of them turned out to be
a rooster. I would have thought it impossible since they are sexed
by the color. But I had to rehome him as I did not want a rooster.

Ugh. I hope not! I'm already keeping one of my two roosters so I really hope that most of these are not roosters. Most are small with barely visible crests, I just have two in question. One HUGE Australorp and the sex link I mentioned.
