Yes Pokey that is MeepMeep.

She is such a goof. I have about 8 MeepMeep look alikes except she has the biggest crest. They will all be black, because its the easiest since I have used all black birds so far with the except of the roo who is a black X birchen aracuana.

I also plan to make some crested blue eggers this coming year. We have some EE roos that will be used in sexlink breedings and will soon have some silver polish hens to breed them with. Some of those pullets will be held back for egg layers here on the farmstead and also future breeding. It is always fun to have easter egger farm mutts running around, we have a few that we breed with the EE roos, one is a faverolle x ameraucana and a few others. Next year I plan to introduce some araucana blood for the tufts and rumplessness in addition to the crest. No clue what the end birds will look like, they'll hopefully be crested rumpless EE's that may have feathering on the feet
