Hi! I've looked around on past threads, but haven't seen one like this. One of my chicks (first timer!) is a 10-day old CCL pullet from Meyer. She doesn't yet have tail feathers, and her wings are much stubbier than her non-CCL age-mates, but she has VERY clear chipmunk markings and dark eyeliner. Is she just slow to feather? Possible roo? She's very active, seems to be eating well, loves to flap her little wings fiercely. Her poops are on the watery side, but nothing else points to failure to thrive that I can see.

Thanks for any thoughts!

She looks fine to me. Different breeds will feather at different rates. Heck, sometimes different chicks of the same breed can feather at different rates. :)
For comparison here are some babies I raised a while back at about the same age as your CLB and yes she definitely looks female. A real cutie!

Thank you so much, @NanaK ! This makes me feel way better. I saw a thread earlier today that no tail feathers by one week = roo, and got nervous. She's a doll, and I'd hate to have to rehome.

I raised a Maran who feathered really slow and had no tail for the longest time along with big feet. Today she is 4 years old and gives me dark brown eggs! Don't ever give up on a bird too soon!
Good luck with your chicks and WELCOME TO BYC! :welcome
