This is my first time hatching Crested Legbars from our full Legbar flock. I have 2 that I know for sure are Roos. These 4 I’m confused on. They have the chip monk pattern all the way up, but have spots.

Thanks in advance! Any advice would be appreciated, too!

A small light dot doesn't necessarily mean male but a big white dot does here's my definitely female cream legbar at a few days old for reference.

I think the bottom 2 pics are female. The spot is pretty big on the first 2 pictures but Im not experienced enough to say for sure but would guess theyre boys. You should be able to tell within a couple weeks though because the boys have way lighter coloring than the girls once they start to feather. Good luck!

In my opinion these are females since they have a well defined chipmunk pattern. Both males and females of this breed are barred, so both can have the head spots.

This chick does not look like a cream Legbar. I think it is an Easter egger. I believe it has a pea comb and a beard.

Im pretty sure she's a cream legbar. Shes from an npip hatchery, shes not a baby chick anymore. And has the correct coloring atleast. But if not gonna get my money back 🤣

As the owner, you know best. I just thought the chick looked a bit off from a Legbar, but variability does happen.

You may totally be right! I'm going purely off of what I paid for haha. I'm not showing these chickens so if she is a mix I'm not overly upset about it but will message the Hatchery to get my money back since they sold me a pure cream legbar haha
