Crested Cream Legbar egg?

Greenfire farms should not overpirced their cream legbars if they are mixs. Plus other hatcherys sell them for cheaper prices like meyers mc murray mypetchicken and they seem to be correct and lay egg colors that stay in within the breed . Really embarrassing for greenfire farm to do thos😬
There's nothing in this thread that says the hen is from Greenfire.

Hello all, I’ve decided to join you guys...and post my adventures with my first ever flock of backyard chickens. Where I live I’m only allowed 5 hens....so I decided to adopt 1 year old hens from Craigslist [yes I know....it’s risky] but I ended up finding a GFF breeder and was able to acquired 1 red star, 2 bielefelders, and 1 crested cream legbar. They get layer pellets, scratch grain (without cracked corn since it’s way too hot here), fresh spinach kale snd watermellon..and frozen Fruits. Unfortunitly I think one of them is an egg eater...how do I weed out with one it is? I found an egg squished but completely empty... they always lay inside their boxes..but I found the stem egg outside the coop o.0

I don't know how to link, but the above post was from their introduction as a new member and they said they found a GFF breeder. That could be anybody, because a lot of people say whatever to sell eggs and chickens.

From GFF, you could find a not great specimen, but not a completely wonky one that may look like a mix.

I got my 4th hen 2 days ago, was told she lays blue eggs. Is the cream egg hers or from one of my other girls? ( 1 Red Star, 2 Bielefelders)...

It sounds to me like she got some chicks from GFF and one 10 month old hen from somewhere else. The chicks look like CL. Plus she said she got the production and Jill Reese lines. In any case, yes, CL are common enough now you could get them from anywhere. At $29 a pullet and $19 a cockerel, their prices are not much higher than some hatcheries.

In any case, it is a choice to purchase from them or not.
