Crested duck thread

I have a crested drake and his brother, but I don't have them with any females and we're going to be eating them soon.

Ohh I can't eat my birds , nothing aginst it , just after raising them from little babies I couldn't imagin doing it . , still no offense to you ymthey do taste good..

I do go duck hunting so I know how it is and my cousins eat their birds so yeah I find the domestic wood duck tastes very diffrent than from the wild ones .

I got these as adults, they are about a year I guess...I got rid of 5 cockerels and two buck rabbits, so I'm not complaining!

That flock of mallards just doesn't leave all of our ducks are free ranging but they seen to be domesticating themselves if I hadent had the camera they usually let me a lot closer .


Some pics of the ducks and my property I was really trying to get pics of the rouens but they feel like hideing in the shade so I couldn't get a pic

Thanks sadly it's only about 10 acres and I've been saving up for a property that's at least 30 so I can expand my duck and goose population( I have 4 geese and like 30 ducks maybe more I haven't checked in the Muscovy brooder for a while since that's my brothers brooder ) I actually want peafowl hence the large property I need )
