Crested Duckling needing a forever home (Los Angeles)

Hi there,

We found a baby crested duckling last Saturday in a cardboard box on the sidewalk near our home. After waiting a few days and no owners found, we are now looking to find a forever home for the duckling. We know it's pretty unlikely for us to find someone who wants to raise a duck in the city, but maybe you know someone or have a relative who might be interested?

Duckling: Super sweet | about 1-2 weeks old | loves people and loves to swim | Probably a pet duck breed and not a meat/egg duck | has a fabulous head fluff

Ideal home: farmhouse | urban farmyard | grassy yard with access to water

We are also reaching out to local animal rescue groups to see if anyone will take it in. If you have a contact in that field, please let me know as well.

Maybe you will have better luck if you'd post this in a CA thread under the "Where and I? Where are you?" tab in the forums? There are a few of them. Hopefully someone will be able to take that precious duckling and give it a great home. It is so cute! I wish you the best of luck!
