Yes he is and thank you. The hen has a nest already and hopefully we will not get p freezing weather that will hurt the eggs. Should it get that cold I collect the eggs and replace with dummy eggs. Then give them back once the hen is ready to set.

My original cross was with silkies several years ago. Since then I have been pairing the mixers back to each other.

I have paired my Phoenix with a gray hen to get some color in my flock. The first set of chiçks look hopeful.
