Crested Polish - Roo or hen???

Hey there, I have a Polish chicken named Lopez. I don't have much experience with chickens yet, so I was wondering if any of you could help me determine the gender of this 2 month old chicken. The yellow is Lopez, the other is another Polish I have that I'm showing for comparison purposes. also, we have 10 other chickens of different breeds and they pecked only Lopez's head feathers out, not my other polish. This lead me to believe that Lopez is male, but i just don't know.

It's not a great shot of your Polish, but what I can see of the wild, pointed crest feathers, I'd say that Lopez a cockerel.

Everyone on my thread here is saying my Polish is a pullet, so in comparison I'd definitely say yours is a cockerel. My Polish at just 6 weeks already has smoother feathers on her head.

Looks like a cockerel to me also. The only thing I was ever told about Polish , by a polish breeder, was males have wild, rockstar crests. Female have a rounded, bouffant look.

Other breeds frequently pluck their crests, just as they do to silkies - so Polish do better, I believe, with other Polish or silkies. They also seem to attract mites/lice in their crests, which get dunked in the water dish when they drink. If they can be taught to use nipple waterers, their crests would stay dry.
