I would love to, but my mom said "No More Chickens!" Plus I've already got some eggs in the incubator, and I might get some Serama eggs and Japanese eggs so ...

My mom said we can get more chickens if I know for sure that they're females. On my Christmas list is an incubator.....already! I want to hatch more bantams and maybe some true araucanas! I love them!

Just a little tip, if you are going small on the incubator
DO NOT BY ANY MEANS GET A LITTLE GIANT.

They will not hatch squat!. Spend a little more and get a good Hovabator. I have several of them, and the larger Sportsman cabinet incubators too.

I tried the LG's one year, they killed everything I put in them, it wouldnt even work for the last 3 days as a hatcher. The temp fluctuations were crazy in it.

Hova's however like I always saw, will hatch rocks if you were to put one in there...
Get forced air, I never get turners, just hand turn 2-3 times a day. This gives you over double the egg capacity, and I always have a massive difference in the hatch when I hand turn compared to turners, not sure why, but hand turning is 100% better for me.

Anyway, theres some tips on that.
Hova's are about $80 for the forced air model
Little Giants, $40

Old saying, you get what you pay for comes to mind...

Good luck to the both of you

I Agree ,
I will never use a little giant again !
Hova Bators are much better,I use them all the time when the Brenseas are full.
I have had them same hovabator for about 3-4 yrs.
still works & hatches like new
