Cricket had BABIES!!!

k.cebula32 :

I was wondering, if it were possible. If I paid you, could you collect the feathers? Not necessarily the tail feathers from a male, but any body feathers, the prettier the better. A friend of mine is an artist and does fun funky hair pieces and we've been going crazy looking for feathers! (by the way, those are some super cute babies!!!)

I don't really find nice feathers laying around, they've usually been weathered out by the time my birds drop them. Now the male train feathers I can save but I already have friends asking for them and they probably wouldn't ship well.

I have a small backpack full of plastic bags labeled with different feathers. I even have their tiniest feathers found on top of their head. I call them tick feathers because they look like a tick, but of course prettier! I have peahen neck feathers, peacock neck feathers, Blackshoudler peahen feathers, Lots and lots of flight feathers from the peacocks and peahens, a few striped wing feathers from my peacock Alto, fluffy downy feathers (mainly light grey or dark, sometimes white if from the pied peafowl), crest feathers, those scale-like looking back feathers that are green on the male, and I am not much for selling the tail feathers (like eye feathers) because I have a girl who might be contacting me soon about getting some and my art teacher is always wanting the tail ones, but all the rest are always plentiful (except the blue neck feathers, I don't have as many as I used to due to a project, but I do have some, mainly smaller ones an inch long maybe). I like collecting their feathers!

really?? Well, any feathers are greattttt! Whatever you want money wise for them I'll be happy to pay! I don't need the tail ones, but it's all the small ones that are the hardest to find! The cool green ones and blue ones!

These photos were great to see!

I had the pleasure of seeing a mama with her babies in person and would love to have some myself one day.

Do you have updated photos???

I sold 3 of Cricket's babies for $15 each, that's all they fetch here in FL. She has 2 left and they are growing FAST. Meanwhile, my BS hen hatched out all 5 eggs, I gave one baby to a friend and she has the remaining four. Here they are. My male is ready to make more babies!
