HELP This is my first hatch and I have a PR that hatched this afternoon and it is laying upside down, unable to support it's neck. Its is crying very loud, is there anything I can do to help it???

How is your chick doing?

It can take a little time for them to get oriented after hatch. You can leave it in the incubator to dry for 24hours to see if it improves. After that give it 1drop of Poultry Nutri-Drench.

I have decided that it has Wry neck so I have started giving it Poly-vi-sol and vit. E along with massaging the side of its neck. It is still within the 72 hr mark so I am not too concerned about it eating and drinking yet, but I have been able to get it to drink small amounts of water if I hold it upright and the water up to it. It is very alert and energetic, it is just twisted upside down. I am hoping, and from what I have read, that it can continue to improve and make a full recovery.... fingers crosed
