I, too, like that you are all set up ahead of time. It looks good! The only thing is, and I don't know if it's just me, but I would give them 2 or 3 weeks tops in that size of a cage. Like I said, maybe I am going overboard in the "giving them a lot of room", but I have four chicks in a rubbermaid style cargo container that is at least twice as wide and twice as long as what you have. Mine are 3 going on 4 weeks and I already think they are outgrowing their brooder. I think we will use my daughter's old playpen next. Because it can be cool damp and rainy where I am, I'll need to keep them indoors until they are fully feathered at about 8weeks. I can't imagine the four of them them being in their current until then.
