A wild cat got one of my babies today so I will be working late on the run.
I already have wire and plastic all around.
Am going to run chicken wire on the bottom also.
The run frame is PVC pipe.
Would appreciate any suggestions as well.
Thanks ya'll.

I critter proofed my run and I have alot of photos on my Hen House page, maybe you can get some ideas that will work in your situation - good luck!

I would suggest that if you are going to use chicken wire, that you use the smallest diameter, i.e., 1/2" and double it up. Go verticle on the first pass and horizontal on the second pass. This is what I have done and I am hoping that this wil keep those nasty buggers from getting in.

Was it during the day that the cat got in?

We used hardware wire on the lower 3 feet of run, then into the ground another foot. We've had no problems with critters digging in. It really pays to secure the henhouse and run at the beginning. It saves so much heartbreak. Good luck!

We did the same, we had 36" wide hardware cloth and we put it up 24" on the run and buried 12" underground all around the run and the elevated coop. we feel very secure about the girls protection.

nitegard does work wonders. I was catching possums like mosquitos. then the nitegard and then never another one. weird.
