Humphrey looked over those that applied--
Pebble, who was just a tadpole.
Hawk, who was brave but impulsive
Jerry, who was strong but dim-witted
Lily, who was eager but clumsy.

This was a tough decision.

Humphrey blinked as he contemplated who he should send.
They each had their strengths, but they each had their faults.
Pebble was out for sure, though. Too young.

Aha! He got it! A brilliant idea sprang into his small brain.
"I shall send Hawk, Jerry, and Lily as a team." He announced with a flourish of his froggy hand.

Lily jumped up and down excitedly. "Yay I get to go! Yay I get to go! Yay I get to g-" She stopped mid chant as she saw the others staring at her. "I mean, thank you, my lord." She bowed, flopping onto her tummy

Jerry grumbled to himself, annoyed. He could do this mission all by himself, he was sure. He didn't need anyone else.

King Humphrey straightened up and added, "but only one of you shall get the honor frog award. Now, I want you to start off by spying on rock tribe. Then you should go and check on Bark tribe. May good luck be your companion, my tribe members."
