OK, this will sound like sheer blasphemy to all of you, but I have just finished # 17

Ok, so obviously I am a little... scratch that... a LOT behind. I am very sorry for that. It is entirely because of my own procrastination.

I am confident that I can get three done in time to get to the PO tomorrow. However, the ends are not tucked in, and at 25 ends per square (I am doing a basket weave pattern that requires several colors), it will take me at least 30 minutes per square to get them all tucked.

As this affects all involved, I thought I would leave the decision to you. Here are my options...

I can send 20 squares tomorrow, no ends tucked except on a few

I can send 20 squares, ends tucked, but a day or two late

I can send 36 squares, no ends tucked, but a few days late

I can send 36 squares, ends tucked, several days late.

None of those choices are very good. Again I am sorry. Another option is my not sending at all, so none of you have to deal with late squares or several untucked ends.

I cannot express how very sorry and contrite I am feeling right now. I let you all down and I know it. I know how hard everyone has worked on these, and I hate to have messed this up for you.

So just post and let me know what each of you prefers I do. Popular vote wins. yf, CT

OK ladies, I spent the time this week snipping the stray yarn. As I was doing it I decided to eliminate 10 of them, not to send b/c they are soooo bad. LOL!!!!!! It's so funny, b/c I was so proud of myself for learning how to do the simple granny sqaure. I look at those first attempts now and say YIPES!!!!!!

This is the first time I've ever attempted to do granny squares. I want to appologize now, b/c I'm not great at transitioning the change of diff color yarn. I really need to learn how to do that better. Oh yea, sorry for the animal hair woven in.

You will all have a little piece of "Smitty's Farm" for real when you make your project w/ my square.

I'm a laid back patient person, so whenever you decide to get them to us is fine with me. I really appreciate you organizing it. I printed off my avatar pic and tied to each of my squares. I had to print some off anyway. I use jute twine to tie up my fresh egg cartons for gifts and customers and tie it w/ my avator pic, so I just printed off an extra sheet of them to attach to the squares.

I need to go check out Mawchick's thread.

Ok, CT, the pattern sounds SO beautiful, I would be MAD if I didn't get one!!! So I say 36, a little late. Don't worry about tucking the ends!!

Hey Tiki, the BYC Crochet Club thread is in the Me, My Chickens, My Family Sect. I tried to copy and paste it for you, but it didn't work.

I will get mine in the mail at the end of the day. I have a total of 31 complete that are decent. believe me the ones I consider decent are not perfect, but it sure was a lot of fun. It would be 41 total w/ the throw backs, but ya'll aren't getting those. No way!

I hope i sent my squares right i sent them in a box with postage prepaid i hope it works. if i need to send more $ let me know.
I would love to have one of everyones squares no matter if the ends are tucked in or not, my makes me tuck in her ends. so it is no big deal to do more. i am just glad to get what i get
